The idea of We Ride Local was born in the mountains of Austria, during a ski season where Kleio Belogianni and her co-founder were working together with friends. What started as a spontaneous chapter quickly turned into the foundation of something much bigger.
There was no business plan, no background in fashion or manufacturing — only instinct, shared energy, and a deep love for movement, extreme sports, and travel.
From day one, the vision was simple: to create something that reflects a lifestyle, not just a product.
Being Greek played a central role in shaping that identity. Surrounded by sea, wind, and natural elements, the idea was never to create something limited by borders, but something defined by them — and by the freedom they represent.
Kitesurfing became the natural bridge between all of it: sport, nature, adrenaline, and expression.
