Scuba Diving is part of Surf Club Keros since 2023, and is not only a great no-wind alternative, but it is a great opportunity to discover the underwater world of Lemnos island!
Whether you are interested in a beginner taster course (Discover Scuba Diving) or a Padi Mermaid course (yes, you wear a mermaid suit during the course and get some awesome pics), or you are an experienced diver, out team has you covered.

Interview with our Dive instructor, Apostolos Sachas
Tell us a bit more about what is going on here at the Surf Club Keros Padi diving center:
“To begin with, Surf Club Keros is an official Padi diving center. This means that you can learn with safety, and get certified by the largest diving organisation world wide!
If you combine this with the safety of Keros bay and the rest of our diving spots, you get a super safe and structured experience, enhanced by the magical colours of Keros bay and our other diving spots!
Beginners, families, or groups of friends can start their underwater journey right here at Keros. When it is windy, we move to other beautiful sheltered beaches and coves near by with our van.
More advanced divers can enjoy dives at Kavalaris Cape, the emblematic point at the South end of Keros bay. With our new Scuba dedicated boat, we can also offer guided dives at interesting sites around the island.”
How would you rate the underwater world of Limnos?
“Limnos, and Greece in general, is not the Red Sea where you can spot colorful coral reefs and sharks and big fish. But it provides super friendly beginner conditions, with great visibility, water colors and safety. There are no significant currents because of tides, no hazards, and the diver does not feel any kind of uncomfortable exposure at any point of the dive. This is very important for beginners and especially families.”
What is new for this season?
“For this season we have explored some new diving spots for beginners and advanced divers. Also our new diving boat is capable of taking intermediate and advanced divers to interesting diving spots at no time!”
A message to anyone that is considering doing a diving course this season?
“When was the last time that you did something for the first time? Come dive with us for a life-changing experience!”
